I Believe . . .

I believe when a person surrenders their life to Jesus . . . when they admit they need a Savior, ask for forgiveness of their sin, and asks Jesus to come into their hearts they are immediately forgiven of their sin . . .

I believe when a person comes to the cross poor in spirit they are a part of the Kingdom of God . . .

I believe once you are a child of God you are always a child a God . . .

I believe spending eternity with Jesus Christ is as real for the believer as much as spending hell in eternity is as real for the unbeliever . . .

I believe . . . because you made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, asked Him to come into your heart and forgive you of your sins . . . that you were instantly in His presence the second you took your last breath.

I can see the excitement in your eyes to come face to face with your Savior.

I can see how you would clasp your hands in excitement and raise your hands with praise.

The Lord brought you to mind three weeks ago. I’m sorry I didn’t reach out.

You are loved.

Jackie’s favorite scripture was I Corinthians 13. Her grandmother taught it to her. Please be praying for her grandmother, her mom and stepdad, her stepmom and dad, her brothers, her sister, and her daughter.

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift ofprophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails . . . But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love

Addiction is real. You don’t have to be alone in this journey.

Rest In Peace, Jackie.

  1. This hurts so bad!! She was an amazing young woman of God! The Lord laid her on my heart a few weeks back also Stacey…and sadly I didn’t obey. But I agree with you sister! Absent from the body, present with the Lord! 💗

    1. I’ve had several ladies message me that she had been on their hearts too. I’m so thankful for grace – but I sure wish I had listened. This has definitely made me more aware of my thoughts to sweep things under the rug and ignore. I’m so glad she knew Jesus.

  2. I write this with a heavy heart, as she will be soo missed. I am so thankful for the memories and time I was able to spend with her. She truly walked out what she believed! She had the ability to see others the way Christ saw them, and she filled the room with His presence as He was in her.
