I haven’t posted in a while and actually took a short break from social media. The break was much needed and I was surprised how much less anxiety I experienced being away. I am choosing wisely and cautiously the pages I view and keeping my time down online.
This morning I had an hour between appointments and stopped to take some pictures at the Milton Riverwalk. Some of these pictures aren’t very clear because I was so far off, but they tell a visual story. And it’s a story about the Lord’s provisions – and that doesn’t mean just monetary provisions – it means provisions.
The details of that can be anything –
Do you need rest? He can provide you rest.
Do you need spiritual renewal? He can provide spiritual renewal.
Do you need mental clarity? He can provide mental clarity?
Do you need spiritual insight? He can provide spiritual insight?
Do you need a miracle? He’s a miracle worker.
Are you hungry? He can provide for your hunger?
Are you thirsty? He can quench your thirst.
Do you need healing? He is the Healer.
Today, in His perfect fashion, a bird landed in the grass still covered with with the morning dew.
As I watched from a distance, the mockingbird began pecking at the ground to reveal a hidden treasure.
Birds have such incredible sight.
I had walked this area over and her never saw what he was able to see.
I want to have (in)sight like that.
Each time he would plunge his beak into the moist ground he would reveal a new treasure.
Not only does the Lord want to meet our needs He wants to do so abundantly.
One bird – countless worms – while the dew was still on the “meadow” – many provisions.
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:26
Yes. You. Are.
