For weeks the Lord has been whispering these words to me . . .

My quiet time didn’t happen this morning – life interrupted.

As I was rushing out the door I grabbed my Bibles, my Oswald Chamber’s devotional, and a study book on women of the Bible. My hope was after my early appointment I could stop by my favorite coffee shop and glean some insight from the Lord after a rushed morning.

I opened my Bible to Isaiah 40:26 to start reading the chapter in order to prepare for what the Lord is going to show me. The problem is I can’t even get that far without my soul being comforted and encouraged because it seems the Lord has already had me there – preparing me, comforting me . . . going before me.

Again – for the umpteenth time the Lord whispers, “I. See. You.”

And everything is right in this world.

I don’t want to sound like a broken record player but I can’t help but believe someone else out there needs this touch as much as I did.

The God that hung the moon and stars and knows them by name knows you.

He sees you.

You.

Right there.

Right now.

You.

Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name throughout all the earth! You have covered the heavens with your majesty . . . When I observe your heavens, the words of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you set in place, what is a human being that you remember him, a son of man that you look after him? You made him a little less than God and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet, all the sheep and the oxen, as well as the animals of the sky, and the fish and the sea that pass through the currents of the seas. Oh Lord, our Lord, how magnificent is your name throughout the earth!
